The vision of the Alabama Gospel Center is to become a world-class performance destination and institute of gospel music. In addition to providing a springboard for aspiring musicians, the Center will preserve, promote and present the rich gospel music heritage of Alabama and the Southeast. We are in the process of renovating the former McCoy United Methodist Church building into a state-of-the-art performance center, which will offer arts and cultural education programs with studios for music and dance. The facility also will feature interactive exhibits and archives of the Alabama gospel music legacy.
